The British Brass Band Registry (BBBR) is the National body responsible for the registration of Brass Bands and individual brass players, and the BBBR rules are adopted for use in most major competitions throughout the UK. There are currently approximately five hundred brass bands and seventeen thousand brass players registered with the BBBR.
The BBBR strives to provide the best possible professional service for brass bands. We are located in purpose built office accomodation within the British Federation of Brass Bands National Office in South Yorkshire. Three dedicated members of staff ensure that we are always available to answer registration queries.
Owned and operated by brass bands though the BFBB, our philosophy is to provide the service that bands require, through constant dialogue and development of the registration system through inclusive democratic procedures.
